Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Archaeologist to support Phase I–III cultural resource surveys and environmental permitting in Texas and neighboring states. The role includes GIS/data tasks, report writing, and agency coordination for infrastructure projects.

Preferred candidates hold a Master’s in archaeology/anthropology and have 7+ years CRM experience, including primary report authorship. Occasional travel and fieldwork up to 30% are expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a related field. (required)
• Master’s Degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a related field. (preferred)
• Ability to meet the Secretary of the Interior’s standards, 36 CFR, Part 61. (required)
• 7+ years CRM experience or equivalent
• Experience with Phase I, II, III surveys for linear/large projects
• Solid Texas Antiquities Code and NEPA knowledge
• Experience with primary report authorship and QA/QC reviews
• Ability to travel up to 30% and work flexible hours

• Identifying cultural resources to support environmental permitting
