Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks an experienced Archaeologist to support Phase I–III cultural resource surveys and NEPA-related projects across Texas, Louisiana and nearby states.

You will apply academic knowledge and field experience to support permitting and compliance for infrastructure projects. The role requires 7+ years in Cultural Resource Management, PI qualification in Texas, strong writing skills, and ability to work independently with travel up to 30%.

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience in Cultural Resource Management (CRM)
• Experience with Primary report authorship in CRM for QC of field documents
• Experience conducting Phase I, II, III surveys for linear and large projects
• Solid understanding of applicable laws and standards (NHTPA, NEPA, Texas Antiquities Code)

Mansioni

• Identifying cultural resources to support environmental permitting
• Preparing NEPA documents (EA/EIS) and environmental reports
• Leading report authorship and quality control for CRM documents
• Coordinating with state and Federal agencies on historic resources
• Data management and curation post field assessment
• Conducting archaeological site inspections and monitoring
• Fieldwork up to 30% and overnight travel up to 30%
• Preparing permits and environmental documents
