Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Archaeologist to conduct Phase I–III cultural resource surveys and support NEPA permitting across multiple offices in Texas and surrounding states.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and a Texas Antiquities Permit or PI credentials. You will coordinate with agencies, manage data, and contribute to business development while traveling up to 30%.

Competenze

• Bachelors degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a related field required.
• Master’s degree in archaeology or related field preferred.
• Must meet Secretary of the Interior’s standards (36 CFR Part 61).

Mansioni

• Identify cultural resources to support environmental permitting of infrastructure projects.
• Prepare NEPA documents including EA and EIS.
• Provide Primary report authorship in CRM context for QC of field documents.
• Coordinate with state and federal resource agencies.
• Data management and curation after fieldwork.
• Conduct archaeological site inspections and monitoring, including deep testing.
• Business development responsibilities.
• Prepare technical documents and permit applications.
• Fieldwork up to 30% and overnight travel up to 30%.
