Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks a Senior Archaeologist to lead cultural resource projects across multiple locations in the US. You will conduct Phase I–III surveys, support permitting, and ensure compliance with NHPA and NEPA guidelines.

The role requires at least 8 years in CRM, strong report writing, and the ability to travel up to 30%. A Texas Antiquities Permit as PI is preferred, with excellent communication and independent work capability.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a related field (required).
• Master's Degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a related field (preferred).
• Ability to meet the Secretary of the Interior's standards, 36 CFR, Part 61 (required).
• At least 8 years of experience in CRM or equivalent.
• Experience with primary report authorship in a CRM context and quality control.

Responsabilidades

• Identify cultural resources to support environmental permitting for infrastructure projects.
• Prepare NEPA documents, including EAs and EISs.
• Provide primary authorship in CRM for field documents, site forms, and reports.
• Coordinate with state and federal resource agencies on historic resources.
• Data management and curation after field assessment.
• Conduct archaeological site inspections and monitoring, including deep testing.
• Assist in business development and client proposals.
• Coordinate fieldwork and travel as needed.
