Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead end-to-end accounts receivable and intercompany accounting activities, including collections escalations, reconciliations, journal entries, and issue resolution to support a timely financial close.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will drive accurate and well-controlled AR processes, resolve complex issues, and partner across teams to reduce risk and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Progressive accounting experience across corporate accounting and multi-entity environments.
• Hands-on month-end and year-end close experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency with large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end escalation cadence for overdue customer accounts and drive timely resolutions.
• Investigate root causes of unapplied cash, short payments, deductions, and customer disputes; coordinate with stakeholders to remove roadblocks.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of the accounts receivable aging subledger to the general ledger; research variances and support financial close.
• Own the monthly accounts receivable fluctuation analysis and provide concise management commentary.
• Analyze intercompany/third party activity and prepare monthly journal entries with proper approvals.
• Lead the research, resolution, and clearance of intercompany differences across legal entities; track items and communicate status to management.
