Job summary

Early Warning is seeking a skilled Applications Administrator to provide primary admin and SME support for key third-party applications. You will troubleshoot, architect, and optimize solutions to meet business needs, while coordinating with vendors and driving process improvements.

The role emphasizes governance, training, and user adoption to ensure secure, efficient application usage across the organization. Hybrid work and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications and/or Computer Science or related field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with all levels of management and staff
• General knowledge of Windows OS, Oracle, SQL, MS Office, Visio
• General knowledge of JIRA, Tableau, and SAP Business Objects
• Demonstrated experience supporting ServiceNow
• Must have strong capability to coach and mentor
• Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• ServiceNow certifications highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Act as owner and primary administrator of assigned application(s)
• Provide application and system support to all employees for assigned application(s)
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed until resolution
• Architect applications to meet business needs and integrate with others
• Establish best practices for administering and securing applications
• Provide application performance monitoring and optimization
• Lead automation using scripts and other tools
• Research and guide selection of 3rd party applications
• Analyze incidents to identify root cause with vendor support
• Drive process improvements and KPI/SLA measurements
• Support upgrades and license budgeting
• Develop user documentation and training materials
• Drive user adoption through training and best practices
• Maintain vendor relationships and prioritize new functionality
