Job summary

Alternatives, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator & Business Applications Analyst to lead the administration, support, and optimization of our enterprise systems.

You will manage critical business applications across accounting, payroll, purchasing, maintenance, and other platforms, helping staff work efficiently and ensuring accurate documentation. You will serve as the internal expert for multiple applications, coordinate upgrades and integrations, and collaborate with teams to drive

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration, business applications, IT support, or a related technology role.
• Experience administering and supporting business software applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, configure, and support multiple business-critical software platforms across the organization.
• Serve as the primary administrator for applications including, but not limited to MIP Accounting, Paycom, Bill.com, UpKeep, Awards, and Amazon Business.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, roles, workflows, configurations, and system settings.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate system updates, upgrades, integrations, and new application implementations.
