Job summary

Early Warning Services LLC is seeking an experienced Applications Administrator in San Francisco, CA, with hybrid work. You will own and administer key 3rd party applications, provide broad support, and drive automation and improvements across systems.

You will work with vendors, set performance metrics, and coordinate upgrades, while ensuring security and compliance. This role emphasizes collaboration, training, and documentation to enable user adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications and/or Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• General knowledge of Windows OS, Oracle, SQL, MS Office, Visio.
• General knowledge of JIRA, Tableau, SAP Business Objects.
• Demonstrated experience supporting ServiceNow.
• Strong capability to coach and mentor.
• Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• ServiceNow certifications highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as owner and primary administrator of assigned application(s).
• Provide application and system support to all employees for assigned application(s).
• Troubleshoot issues with expert level support; escalate as needed.
• Architect applications to meet business needs and integrate with other apps.
• Establish best practices for administering and securing applications.
• Provide application performance monitoring, evaluation and optimization.
• Propose and implement/lead automation using scripts and tools.
• Implement solutions to meet or improve user needs.
• Research, evaluate and guide selection of 3rd party applications.
• Analyze incidents to identify root causes with vendor support.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements.
• Set KPIs and SLAs with stakeholders.
• Manage upgrades and patches installations.
• Monitor licenses and budgeting; request new licenses as needed.
• Maintain app road map with manager; prioritize work.
• Provide timely status reporting.
• Lead projects for new functionality and reporting.
• Develop and maintain user documentation.
• Drive user adoption via training.
• Maintain vendor relationships for future needs.
• Support data security and confidentiality.
