Job summary

Valiant Residential seeks a Lead Maintenance to oversee property upkeep under the Community Manager. You will perform repairs in resident apartments and assist in preparing units for rent (make-ready).

The role requires two years of maintenance experience, English proficiency, and the ability to supervise staff and coordinate with vendors. This is a hands-on, on-site position offering growth opportunities within a dynamic multifamily team.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of full-time apartment maintenance or related trade work involving electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, or HVAC.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Perform HVAC and basic electrical/plumbing repairs.
• Replace filters, maintain sprinkler systems, and paint interior/exterior as needed.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with vendors.
• Assist in make-ready and turnover of apartments for new residents.
• Ensure safety, records, and inventories are kept up to date.
