Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing is seeking an Accounts Payable Shared Services Senior Manager in Fremont, CA. This role leads a cross-functional AP/SS team across three NA locations, driving standardization, automation, and efficiency in procure-to-pay processes.

You will report to the VP Controller and shape the future of our finance technology landscape. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in AP operations within manufacturing, strong Excel and ERP/MRP experience (Infor Syteline preferred),

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounts payable operations and ERP payables.
• Experience leading mid-sized to large manufacturing AP/Procure-to-Pay teams.
• Proficient with Excel and ERP/MRP software; Infor Syteline ERP preferred.
• Strong process improvement, operations, project/change management, and automation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for collaboration and events.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and interaction skills to lead through change.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP/SS staff across 3 locations in North America with focus on process improvements.
• Analyze workflows to identify root causes and justify improvements across procure-to-pay.
• Direct a team to design scalable procure-to-pay processes.
• Translate strategy into operational goals and roadmaps.
• Ensure AP procedures comply with state and federal regulations.
• Support month-end close with accruals and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide reports and reconciliations for audits.
