Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) is partnering with an established organization in the senior living industry to identify a Senior AP Coordinator for its accounting team in Waltham, MA. This high-volume AP role offers ownership, cross-department interaction, and stability.

The Senior AP Coordinator will process invoices, ensure accurate coding and approvals, and support month-end close while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Experience in high-volume AP environment
• Strong Excel and systems skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a high-volume workload
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Experience within senior living, healthcare, real estate, property management, or a multi-entity environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume invoice processing from receipt through payment
• Review invoices for accuracy, proper coding, documentation, and approvals
• Perform invoice matching and research discrepancies
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, discrepancies, and outstanding issues
• Reconcile vendor statements and proactively resolve differences
• Maintain accurate vendor records and supporting documentation
• Assist with weekly payment processing and ensure payments are completed accurately and timely
• Partner with internal departments to resolve invoice and approval issues
• Support month-end close activities, including AP reconciliations and reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, controls, and efficiencies
