Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is assisting a Bakersfield-based distribution and logistics organization in recruiting a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist. This role owns the full-cycle AP process in a high-volume environment, ensuring accurate vendor invoicing, coding, approvals, and payments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of AP experience, strong knowledge of accounting principles, vendor management, and proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Competenze

• 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, vendor management, reconciliations, and month-end support.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel is required.

Mansioni

• Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment processing.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies while maintaining vendor relationships.
• Review AP aging, ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Support month-end close activities by preparing accruals, reconciliations, and reporting schedules.
• Collaborate with accounting leadership and operations to improve procedures and controls.
