Job summary
Uber is seeking an experienced software engineer to shape the Uber One program, building next-generation member experiences for UberX and UberEats. - 5+ years of work experience in software engineering building large scale systems.
- Experience in Android development with Java and/or Kotlin, and code reviews.
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and system design.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects end-to-end and drive architectural decisions.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact products.
Responsibilities
- Identify new opportunities to evolve the Uber One program across UberEats and UberX.
- Collaborate with engineers, PMs, Data Science and Designers to design and optimize products used by millions.
- Architect robust, scalable systems to support millions of users and simplify future needs.
- Drive technical strategy for platform evolution, microservices, and API design.
- Foster engineering culture and improve velocity and quality across the team.
