Job summary

Uber is seeking a Software Engineer on the Membership team to architect next-generation member experiences powering Uber One across UberEats and UberX. You will design scalable systems and drive cross-functional collaborations.

You will shape platform evolution, set standards for testing and monitoring, and collaborate with engineers, PMs, and data scientists to deliver impactful outcomes for millions of users.

Qualifications

• 3+ years work experience in software engineering building large scale systems.
• Strong hands-on technical skills in one or more programming languages (Go, Java, Python, Kotlin, Swift, C++).
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, system design and architecture.
• Experience owning critical large-scale platforms and driving architectural initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify new opportunities to evolve Uber One across UberEats and UberX.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, Data Science and Designers to build and optimize products used by millions.
• Architect robust, scalable systems and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Drive platform evolution, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Cultivate engineering culture to improve velocity and quality across the team.
