Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Eng, or related field.
• Expert in one or more languages including Go/Java/Python/C++/Kotlin/Swift.
• Experience owning large-scale platforms and reducing systemic debt.
• Proven end-to-end delivery from inception to production.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to evolve Uber One across UberEats and UberX.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, Data Science and Designers to build and optimize products used by millions.
• Architect scalable, highly available systems powering new initiatives.
• Drive platform evolution, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Own architecture reviews and improve observability and incident response.
• Define standards for testing, monitoring, and alerting across the org.
• Mentor staff and senior engineers with technical leadership.
