Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a senior AI/ML strategist to lead Frontier AI initiatives within the Department of War, translating priorities into scalable cloud architectures and business cases. You will engage senior military leaders and contracting officers, drive opportunities from data modernization to frontier model workloads, and shape the AI roadmap across AWS services.

The role requires 7+ years in data/AI tech, TS/SCI clearance, and experience building large-scale AI solutions.

Qualifications

7+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage.
3+ years in full-time industry or military work, or cross-functional customer advocacy experience.
Experience building large-scale machine learning and AI solutions at Internet scale.
Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Drive the AI portfolio across DoW, from data modernization to frontier workloads at the tactical edge.
Build and deliver AI solution proposals connecting AWS capabilities to mission needs.
Develop durable relationships with senior leaders and program managers.
Translate priorities into credible AWS architectures and defensible business cases.
Assist in capture and structuring requirements for major federal programs.
Coordinate multi-team engagements and maintain tempo across pursuits.
Represent the customer voice to influence AI/HPC and secure cloud roadmaps.
