Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Principal AI & Emerging Tech Specialist to accelerate mission-focused adoption of AI and emerging technologies within the U.S. defense and intelligence communities.

You will develop customer use cases, shape go-to-market strategies, and collaborate with account teams to deliver secure, compliant solutions in both classified and unclassified environments. You will work with executives and builders to operationalize AI at scale, driving DataOps, MLOps, and AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of technology platform sales with government IT experience.
• Experience cross-functional collaboration.
• Current Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prospect into AI and emerging tech customers and buying centers by identifying mission-driven use cases for generative AI, agentic AI, ML at the edge, quantum, and other capabilities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in AI and emerging technologies, providing specialized sales guidance, technical enablement, and thought leadership to account teams and customers.
• Meet regularly with national security executives and mission owners to understand requirements and technology roadmaps, and introduce AWS AI, data, analytics, and emerging technology services.
• Negotiate and close large, complex AI and emerging technology opportunities across multiple agencies and buying centers.
• Collaborate with AWS account teams, hardware/software engineering leaders, professional services, and program managers to align solutions with mission needs.
• Represent the voice of the customer and lead the curation of feature requests and regional requirements across classified environments.
• Identify opportunities for Marketing and Public Policy engagements to position AWS as a trusted partner.
• Leverage associations to establish AWS as a thought leader in AI and emerging tech within national security.
