Job summary
Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a mission-focused AI/ML leader for the Department of War portfolio, to advance frontier model workloads at scale in California.
You will partner with senior strategists, build technical engagements, and translate priorities into defensible AWS architectures and business cases.
Applicants must hold TS/SCI clearance and demonstrate experience delivering large-scale AI solutions.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies including AI/ML, GenAI, analytics, databases, and storage.
- 3+ years in industry or military work, or experience representing critical customers cross-functionally.
- Current TS/SCI US government security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Drive the AI portfolio across the DoW, progressing opportunities from modernization to frontier workloads.
- Develop and deliver AI solution proposals linking AWS capabilities to mission needs.
- Build durable relationships with senior military leaders and program managers.
- Translate priorities like CJADC2 and autonomous systems into AWS architectures and business cases.
- Support acquisitions and capture efforts on major federal vehicles.
- Coordinate with Solution Architects and partner teams to maintain tempo across pursuits.
- Represent the customer voice to AWS service teams to influence roadmaps.
