Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Engineer within Global Technology Partners to accelerate platform adoption by ISV partners. You will translate complex technical capabilities into business value, build bespoke demos and vision prototypes using AI-assisted tools, and guide partners toward faster time-to-market.

You will craft technical pitch videos, solution briefs, and diagrams; work with PAMs, Product, and Engineering to scope opportunities and define roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 2–8+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, technical architecture, consulting, or a closely related customer-facing technical function.
• Platform & Technical Acumen: cloud-native architectures, SaaS/PaaS, API-first development; design and demo capabilities.
• Value-Based Selling & Storytelling: translate technical features into business benefits for diverse audiences.
• Discovery & Solution Scoping: active listening to uncover needs and craft scope.
• AI-First Builder Mentality: shipping tools or prototypes using AI or low-code platforms.

Responsibilities

• Platform Value Proposition & Storytelling: articulate the platform's value to ISV partners.
• Bespoke Solution Design & Demonstration: create customized demos and proofs-of-concept.
• AI-Accelerated Build & Prototype: use AI tools to rapidly scaffold a 0→1 prototype.
• Technical Sales Content Creation: produce pitches, briefs, and diagrams.
• Partner Innovation & Roadmap Guidance: define scope and roadmap with partners.
• Strategic Opportunity Qualification & Scoping: work with PAMs to qualify and scope opportunities.
• Curiosity-Driven Problem Solving: explore new tech and market trends to uncover needs.
