Job summary

Talkdesk seeks an autonomous Forward Deployed Engineer, Staff to translate Talkdesk’s Agentic AI into production-grade solutions for strategic enterprise customers. You will lead architectural design, drive security and scalability, and hands-on build AI agents with API integrations.

The role blends software engineering, technical leadership, and customer-facing delivery, requiring deep expertise in AI systems and cross-team collaboration to influence product direction and ensure successful

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–10 years in software or solution engineering with AI/ML deployments.
• Experience leading large, complex deployments and client-facing delivery.
• Proficiency in API integration, data flow, and secure production code.
• Strong ability to influence product roadmaps and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for complex deployments and enterprise-scale AI agents.
• Design architecture, manage dependencies, and ensure security and scale.
• Write production-grade code and deliver end-to-end deployments.
• Mentor junior engineers and align with customer executives.
