Job summary

Talkdesk, Inc. seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, FSI, to translate Talkdesk's AI platform into production-grade solutions for strategic enterprise customers. You are a rare blend of software engineer, technical project lead, and hands-on builder.

You will own deployments, mitigate risks, and drive outcomes across projects, mentoring junior engineers and influencing product direction in high-stakes environments.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive experience in software or solution engineering, with at least 1+ year focused on architecting and deploying AI/ML/Agentic solutions.
• Proven experience in end-to-end multi-agent system design and implementation, including planning, memory, and tool-use.

Responsibilities

• Technical Project Leadership & Architecture: act as technical lead for complex deployments and design architectural blueprints for AI agent solutions.
• Hands-On Engineering & Delivery: write production-grade code and integrate Talkdesk and 3rd-party APIs/SDKs.
• Technical Consultation & Alignment: address deep technical inquiries and build trust with customer Engineering Directors and architects.
• Influence Product & Engineering Roadmap: translate deployment learnings into reusable patterns and provide feedback to product teams.
• Technical Guidance: mentor junior FDEs and technical specialists on best practices.
