Job summary

Talkdesk is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer in Seattle to translate the Talkdesk Agentic AI platform into scalable, production-grade solutions for strategic enterprise customers. You will lead architecture, build hands-on, and drive successful outcomes in high-stakes, customer-facing projects.

You will mentor others and influence product direction while collaborating with executives and engineers to deliver transformative customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in software or solution engineering with at least 1+ year focused on architecting and deploying AI/ML/Agentic solutions.
• Strong Experience in Agentic AI System Architecture and end-to-end multi-agent systems.
• Proficiency in Javascript, Python, Typescript with secure, scalable production code.
• Deep expertise in APIs, webhooks, and message queues with robust data architecture.
• Solid background in prompt engineering, model optimization, and agent collaboration.
• Ability to engage customer executives and lead technical discussions across teams.

Responsibilities

• Technical Project Leadership & Architecture: lead complex deployments and design enterprise-grade AI agent solutions.
• Hands-On Engineering & Delivery: write production-grade code and deploy AI agents from prototype to production.
• Technical Consultation & Alignment: address deep technical inquiries and mitigate risk with customer teams.
• Influence Product & Engineering Roadmap: translate deployment learnings into reusable patterns.
• Technical Guidance: mentor junior engineers on AI architecture and client-facing delivery.
