Job summary

Talkdesk seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to translate Talkdesk's AI platform into production-grade agent solutions for enterprise customers. You are an autonomous builder combining software engineering, technical leadership, and hands-on delivery across deployments.

You will mentor engineers, lead architecture design, drive risk mitigation, and partner with customer engineering leaders to ensure scalable, secure, and high-impact outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in software/solution engineering with 1+ year in architecting AI/Agentic solutions.
• Deep expertise in multi-agent system architecture, planning, memory, tool-use.
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, queues for secure data flow.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for complex deployments, design enterprise-grade AI agent architectures.
• Write production-grade code and integrate Talkdesk APIs/SDKs end-to-end.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to customer engineering teams and executives.
• Synthesize deployment learnings into reusable patterns and influence product direction.
• Mentor junior FDEs on AI architecture, production quality, and client delivery.
