Job summary

Snowflake seeks a Senior Solution Engineer to address complex customer needs, collaborating with sales and channel partners to drive deals from demonstration to POC and design. You will translate business problems into Snowflake solutions, bridging business and technical discussions.

You will work with Product, Engineering and Marketing to sharpen Snowflake offerings and market position while maintaining visibility into the evolving data landscape across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in industry, with at least 5 years in pre-sales
• Outstanding presenting skills to both executive and technical audiences
• 5+ years building and deploying ML and generative AI solutions in the cloud
• Broad experience in large-scale DB/Data Warehouse, ETL, analytics and cloud tech
• Hands-on SQL analytics and Python
• Ability to map customer problems to Snowflake solutions
• University degree in CS/Engineering/Math; MS in DS or MBA a plus
• GSIs experience beneficial but not required
• Approx. 30% travel expected

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors
• Demonstrate and communicate Snowflake value across the sales cycle from demo to POC to design/implementation
• Stay informed about competitive technologies and how to position Snowflake
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and marketing
