Job summary

Cyera is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to own high-impact troubleshooting for AI security and data discovery in a remote-friendly US or Dallas-based setting. You will lead complex investigations, automate diagnostics, and partner with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to improve the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 5+ years in technical support, support engineering, escalation support, or customer-facing technical roles in SaaS or cybersecurity.
• Experience scripting in Python,Bash, or PowerShell and automating workflows.
• OS-level support for Windows and macOS with command-line installs and MDM deployment.
• Experience configuring security exclusions for major vendors (CrowdStrike, Defender, SentinelOne).
• Strong log analysis, API/API tooling, SQL, RCA writing, and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Own complex technical resolution across enterprise architectures for AI security and data discovery.
• Lead end-to-end support tickets from discovery to resolution as primary technical authority.
• Develop automation and diagnostic tools to scale troubleshooting and reduce manual steps.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and OCTO to feed operational insights into roadmaps.
• Create reusable runbooks and documentation to improve knowledge sharing.
• Integrate AI tools into troubleshooting workflows and enhance support efficiency.
• Build strong customer relationships and represent the company with technical leadership.
• Mentor Tier 1 engineers in troubleshooting and escalation processes.
