Job summary

Fortinet, Inc. is seeking an experienced AI Sales Engineer to drive pre-sales technical execution for AI Security solutions in a Sunnyvale, CA region.

You will shape GTM strategies, enable regional Sales Engineers, and lead customer-facing engagements including architecture reviews, demos, and POCs to accelerate adoption of Fortinet’s AI security platform. You will collaborate with partners and internal teams, travel up to 50%, and educate customers on agentic AI best practices while championing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field such as electrical engineering, CS or data science.
• 5+ years of technical sales experience.
• 2+ years specializing in AI and related technologies.
• Experience engaging with cloud/AI security engineers, data scientists and AI/ML architects.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AI Sales Specialist to shape GTM strategy for AI Security solutions.
• Enable and train regional Sales Engineers on product capabilities and demos.
• Provide support for discovery, architecture deep-dives, and POCs throughout the sales cycle.
• Assist customers with deployment of AI Security solutions in self-hosted environments.
• Maintain demo environments and oversee certifications, training materials, and benchmarks.
• Collaborate with partners to equip them to close AI Security opportunities.
• Lead customer-facing engagements including architecture reviews and product demos.
