Job summary

Fortinet, Inc. is seeking an AI Sales Specialist in Sunnyvale to drive GTM for AI security across regions. You will work with account managers and partners to build pipelines, qualify opportunities, and close enterprise AI security deals.

You will lead executive briefings, deliver demonstrations, and run regional trainings to uplift field teams on AI features, governance, and security outcomes. A strong track record in AI sales and C-level engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of quota-carrying technical sales experience, including at least 3 years specializing in AI.
• Proven track record closing 6- and 7-figure ACV deals in complex enterprise accounts.
• Experience engaging with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Heads of AI.
• Understanding of core AI technologies, including ML, DL, and generative AI.
• Exemplary written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to develop customer relationships and advance opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional sales leaders to shape and execute the GTM strategy for AI Security solutions across your region, focusing on expanding existing Fortinet customers and greenfield acquisition.
• Collaborate with Fortinet account managers and partners to build pipeline, identify, qualify, and close AI Security business.
• Lead customer-facing activities, including executive presentations, discovery workshops, and live product demonstrations.
• Design and deliver regional training programs for Fortinet account managers on product features, differentiators, use cases and business outcomes.
• Consult with enterprise clients to evaluate AI landscapes, security challenges, and architect effective solutions; act as trusted AI governance thought leader.
• Engage in strategic account selling, business development, and customer success with ROI focus.
• Engage Fortinet’s channel and reseller partners to enable them to close AI Security deals.
• Cultivate relationships with C-level executives and AI decision-makers.
