Job summary

Fortinet, Inc. is seeking an experienced AI Sales Engineer to drive pre-sales support for AI Security solutions in the California region. You will partner with the AI Sales Specialist, enable regional Sales Engineers, and lead technical engagements with CTOs, CISOs, and AI leaders to accelerate adoption.

The role requires hands-on Docker and Kubernetes skills, cloud deployment experience, and the ability to travel up to 50% to build customer relationships and close opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years of technical sales experience, with AI focus.
• Experience engaging with cloud/AI security engineers and AI/ML architects.
• Understanding of AI technologies including ML, DL and Generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AI Sales Specialist to drive GTM for AI Security solutions.
• Enable and train regional Sales Engineers on product capabilities and demos.
• Support technical discovery, architecture deep dives, and POCs throughout the sales cycle.
• Assist customers with deployment in self-hosted environments.
• Lead customer engagements with technical reviews, demos, and training.
