Job summary

Fortinet in the United States seeks an experienced AI Sales Specialist to lead go-to-market for AI security solutions. You will partner with regional sales leaders, account managers, and partners to build pipeline, qualify opportunities, and close multi-year, six- to seven-figure ACV deals.

You will present to CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, and AI leaders, shaping regional strategy and driving adoption of Fortinet's AI security platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering, science, computer science or related technical field preferred.
• 7+ years of quota-carrying technical sales experience including at least 3 years specializing in AI and related technologies.
• Proven track record closing multi-stakeholder, 6- and 7-figure ACV deals in complex enterprise accounts.
• Demonstrated experience engaging with C-level executives (CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of AI).
• Understanding of core AI technologies (machine learning, deep learning, generative AI).
• Experience in regulated or data-sensitive industries (finance, healthcare, semiconductors) preferred.
• Familiarity with agentic AI tools and AI infrastructure; knowledge of security implications is a plus.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to develop customer relationships and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional sales leaders to shape GTM strategy for AI Security solutions across your region.
• Collaborate with account managers and partners to build pipeline, identify, qualify, and close AI Security business.
• Lead customer-facing activities including executive presentations, discovery workshops, and live demos.
• Design and deliver regional training programs for account managers on product features, differentiators, use cases and business outcomes.
• Consult with enterprise clients to evaluate AI landscapes, address security challenges, and architect effective solutions.
• Engage in strategic account selling and ongoing customer success with focus on ROI.
