Genesys—a leader in AI-powered customer experience orchestration—seeks a Sr. Software Engineer, Full Stack to build agentic AI features on Genesys Cloud.

You will design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI driven solutions across React/TypeScript frontends and backend services, integrating advanced LLM capabilities. You’ll collaborate with product teams and customers to translate complex problems into scalable platforms, improve observability, and contribute to enterprise SaaS deployments at

Qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent shipped products.
• Strong full stack development foundation across frontend, backend, and API design using TypeScript/JavaScript and one of Java, Python, or Node.
• Hands-on experience with large language models including tool calling and retrieval augmented generation.
• Familiarity with agentic system design, multi-step reasoning, autonomous tool usage, and planning structures.
• Experience deploying and operating services in AWS environments (Lambda, ECS, Fargate or similar).
• Demonstrated ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of AI-driven features from framing to production.
• Design and build agentic systems that plan, reason, and act using tools and APIs for reliability and observability.
• Develop full-stack solutions across React/TypeScript frontends and backend services with LLM integration.
• Translate customer problems into scalable product solutions in collaboration with product and stakeholders.
• Build evaluation frameworks to measure quality, cost, latency, and robustness of AI systems.
