Job summary

Genesys is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer, Full Stack, to build AI-powered experiences on the Genesys Cloud platform. You will shape AI-driven customer experiences, design agentic systems, and develop full-stack solutions using React, TypeScript, and backend services.

You will collaborate with product teams, define evaluation frameworks, and iterate based on measurable outcomes. The role offers growth across AI application development, distributed systems, and enterprise SaaS, with

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent shipped products.
Strong full-stack foundation with TypeScript/JavaScript and Java/Python/Node.
Hands-on experience with large language models and tool calling.
Familiarity with agentic system design and multi-step reasoning.
Experience deploying services in AWS (Lambda/ECS/Fargate).
Demonstrated ownership and execution in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery of AI-driven features from framing to production.
Design and build agentic systems with tools and APIs for reliability and observability.
Develop full-stack solutions across React/TypeScript frontends and backend services.
Translate customer problems into scalable product solutions with stakeholders.
Build evaluation frameworks measuring quality, cost, latency and robustness.
