Job summary

EY seeks a senior leader for its AI Platform Engineering group to direct infrastructure and cloud-native platform layers powering EY’s AI runtime. This player‑coach role combines hands‑on technical work with strategic roadmap ownership across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air‑gapped targets.

You’ll guide a team of AI Infrastructure and AI Systems Engineers, set engineering standards, and ensure portability, reliability, and high‑availability of foundational platforms for regulated client contexts.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on cloud-native platform engineering experience in Kubernetes and related infrastructure.
• Proven leadership of senior engineering teams with hands-on contribution.
• Track record delivering scalable, portable, secure AI environments across clouds and on‑prem.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team and set priorities, mentoring engineers.
• personally design, implement, and debug high‑risk platform components like cluster bring‑up and multi‑tenancy.
• Own infrastructure delivery roadmap with phased capabilities and entry/exit gates.
• Oversee secure execution, inference serving, and routing using advanced AI tooling.
• Ensure reliability with SLOs, incident reviews, backup, and DR across environments.
• Drive cost management, vendor relationships, and capacity planning for GPU/AI workloads.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD and GitOps to keep environments drift‑free.
