Job summary

EY is seeking a senior leader for its AI Platform Engineering group to shape and run EY’s foundational AI runtime infrastructure. You’ll guide a team of AI Infrastructure and AI Systems Engineers, while hands-on designing and troubleshooting the most critical platform components across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped environments.

You will own the delivery roadmap, set standards, manage budgets, and partner with DevOps on CI/CD and GitOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams (technical leadership of multiple engineers).
• Track record of owning a platform or infrastructure roadmap and architecture end to end.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes distributions (RKE2, EKS/AKS/GKE, K3s).
• Deep experience with bare-metal, cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and air-gapped deployment models.
• Strong grounding in cluster networking (Cilium/CNI) and multi-tenancy isolation.
• Hands-on experience with GPU infrastructure and AI inference serving (vLLM/NIM/Triton).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tooling (Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm, ArgoCD).
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup, and cross-environment replication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team.
• Build hands-on as a senior individual contributor on core components.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap across phased releases.
• Own the infrastructure foundation and cloud-native platform.
• Stand up and operate EY Agentic AI environments across cloud/on-prem/edge.
• Own secure execution, inference, and routing (Ray Serve, vLLM, Triton).
• Own operational excellence, SLOs, incident reviews, and DR.
• Own GPU capacity, platform economics, and vendor selection.
