Job summary

EY seeks a senior leader for its AI Platform Engineering group to direct infrastructure and cloud-native platform layers powering EY’s AI runtime. You will be a hands-on, player-coach leader owning architecture, implementation, and delivery across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air‑gapped targets.

You’ll set phased roadmaps, define SLOs, and partner with DevOps on CI/CD and GitOps, ensuring portability, reliability, and security in regulated client contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams while remaining hands-on.
• Proven track record owning a platform or infrastructure roadmap end-to-end.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes orchestration and cluster lifecycle management.
• Experience with bare-metal, cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and ideally air-gapped deployment models.
• Experience with GPU infrastructure and AI inference serving.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tooling.
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup, and cross-environment replication.
• Proven ability to work with security, architecture, product, and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team.
• Build hands-on as a senior individual contributor on core platform components.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap with phased capabilities.
• Stand up and operate EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped modes.
• Own secure execution, inference, and routing using Ray Serve, vLLM/NIM/Triton, and NVIDIA Dynamo.
• Oversee operational excellence, incident management, and SLOs across environments.
• Manage GPU capacity, platform economics, and vendor relationships.
