Job summary

EY seeks a senior leader for its AI Platform Engineering group to architect, build, and operate EY’s AI runtime foundation. You will guide a team of AI Infrastructure and AI Systems Engineers, while personally tackling the most critical platform components and delivering a scalable, secure, multi-tenant substrate across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams while remaining hands-on.
• Owns platform roadmap and architecture end-to-end, from requirements through delivery and operations.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes distributions and full cluster lifecycle management at production scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team: set priorities, remove blockers, hire, mentor, and grow engineers.
• Build hands-on as a senior individual contributor: design, implement, and debug the hardest platform components.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap and define entry/exit gates with leadership.
• Stand up and operate EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped targets.
• Own secure execution, inference, and routing using Ray Serve, vLLM, Triton, and NVIDIA technologies.
• Own operational excellence, SRE practices, incident management, and DR across environments.
• Own GPU capacity, platform economics, vendor selection, and budget management.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code to ensure reproducibility.
