Job summary

EY seeks a senior leader for its AI Platform Engineering group to architect and run EY’s foundational AI infrastructure across cloud, on-prem, and edge environments. You will guide a team of AI Infrastructure and AI Systems Engineers, while personally shaping the most critical platform components, including multi-tenancy, GPU enablement, and secure inference.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams while remaining an active hands-on contributor.
• Track record of owning a platform or infrastructure roadmap and architecture end to end.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes distributions and full cluster lifecycle management at production scale.
• Deep experience with bare-metal, cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and air-gapped deployment models.
• Strong grounding in cluster networking, storage, and multi-tenancy isolation.
• Hands-on experience with GPU infrastructure and AI inference serving.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tooling.
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup, and cross-environment replication.
• Proven track record operating production infrastructure under compliance and regulatory constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team and culture.
• Build hands-on as a senior individual contributor on core platform components.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap with phased abilities for engineering teams.
• Oversee infrastructure foundation and cloud-native platform across multiple environments.
• Stand up and operate EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped modes.
• Own secure execution, inference, and routing with modern AI inference stacks.
• Ensure operational excellence, resilience, and platform delivery with SLOs and incident reviews.
• Manage GPU capacity, platform economics, and vendor relationships to support growth.
