Job summary

Remitly is seeking a deeply AI-forward Senior Engineering Manager to lead Corporate Security (CorpSec) and build agentic systems securing our workforce, identities, and enterprise technology end to end. You will lead security engineers within Security & Privacy and collaborate with IT, People, and engineering leaders to raise the security bar while minimizing friction for employees.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering depth with scale
• Led security or engineering teams leveraging AI
• Ownership of corporate security incl. identity, endpoint, SaaS
• Security automation using agent frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph/CrewAI) and Python/Golang
• Knowledge of identity platforms/protocols (Okta, SAML, OIDC, SCIM)
• Experience delivering production/open source software via agentic development
• Security capabilities that accelerate work for employees and developers
• Experience on cloud-native infra (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes)
• Strong cross-functional communication across teams

Responsibilities

• Deliver IAM with default-secure by design: SSO, phishing-resistant auth, automatic joiner/mover/leaver access
• Build endpoint and SaaS security programs that don’t slow users
• Ship automation to find/remediate misconfigurations and automate evidence
• Onboard new SaaS tools securely with IT and business owners
• Partner with Detection and Response to turn telemetry into detections and containment
• Foster an AI-forward culture where agents and code reduce manual work
• Hire and develop senior security engineers and tech leads
• Communicate programs and risks to S&P leadership and partners
• Land measurable impact weekly while pursuing multi-year goals
