Job summary

Remitly is seeking a deeply AI-forward Senior Engineering Manager to lead Corporate Security (CorpSec) and build agentic systems that secure our workforce, identities, and enterprise technology end to end. Our objective is to ensure accounts and devices are secure by default, with automatic access grants and removals, while security moves at the speed of the business.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering depth leading production services at scale.
• Led security or engineering teams leveraging AI.
• Ownership of corporate security (identity, endpoint, SaaS) for 1,000+ users.
• Experience with agentic development and security automation.
• Cloud-native infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Deliver IAM where safety is built in by default: SSO, phishing-resistant authentication, automatic joiner/mover/leaver access.
• Build endpoint and SaaS security programs to harden devices and apps without slowing users.
• Ship automation to remediate misconfigurations and automate audits.
• Partner with IT, Procurement, and business owners for secure onboarding of SaaS tools.
• Collaborate with Detection and Response to turn telemetry into detections and containment.
• Foster an AI-forward culture using agents and code to reduce manual work.
• Hire and develop top security engineers and technical leads.
• Communicate programs and risk tradeoffs to S&P leadership in business terms.
• Land measurable weekly impact toward multi-year security goals.
