Job summary

Affirm seeks a senior security engineer to lead the enterprise AI security review process for LLM-based systems. You will evaluate architecture, data flows, permissions, and design guardrails, coordinating with Security, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, IT and Engineering.

You will model risks such as prompt injection, data exposure, and tool-permission abuse, and help create test cases and mitigations before launch. Remote-first with flexible in-person onboarding.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security architecture for AI/LLM systems and enterprise security controls.
• Experience threat modeling for AI/LLM applications and securing agentic systems.
• Familiarity with IAM, non-human identities, and vendor risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve enterprise AI security review process for architecture and data flows.
• Threat model AI/LLM systems and drive remediation.
• Review source code, prompts, configurations, and tool manifests; help build security tests.
