Remitly is seeking a deeply AI-forward Senior Engineering Manager to lead Corporate Security (CorpSec) and build agentic systems that secure our workforce, identities, and enterprise technology end to end.

You will lead a team of security engineers within Security & Privacy (S&P) and partner with IT, People, and engineering leaders to deliver paved roads that raise our security bar without creating friction for employees.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering depth: you've built, operated, and led production services at scale.
• Led and grown security or engineering teams that operate with AI leverage.
• Ownership of corporate security including identity, endpoint, and SaaS for 1,000+ users.
• Delivered security automation using agent frameworks and languages like Python and Golang.
• Experience with identity platforms and protocols: Okta, SAML, OIDC, SCIM.
• Hands-on production or open source software through agentic development.
• Landed security capabilities that measurably accelerate how employees and developers work.
• Experience building on cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes).
• Strong communication to align leaders without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Deliver workforce IAM with SSO, phishing-resistant authentication, and automatic joiner/mover/leaver access.
• Build endpoint and SaaS security programs hardened and monitored without slowing employees.
• Ship automation that remediates misconfigurations and excess access and produces audit evidence automatically.
• Onboard new SaaS tools securely with IT, Procurement, and business owners.
• Collaborate with Detection and Response to convert telemetry into detections and containment.
• Foster a deeply AI-forward culture where agents and code replace manual work.
• Hire and develop a top security engineering team capable of operating independently.
• Communicate programs, priorities, and risk tradeoffs to S&P leadership in business terms.
• Aim for measurable weekly impact while pursuing multi-year goals.
