Job summary

Affirm is seeking a seasoned security engineer to lead the end-to-end security review process for enterprise AI/LLM systems. You will evaluate architecture, data flows, and tool configurations, embedding security into design and driving risk-based remediation across Security, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, IT, and Engineering.

You will build guardrails, champion policy-as-code, and collaborate with vendor teams to ensure secure AI adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining AI security architectures.
• Threat modeling for AI/LLM apps and data flows.
• Experience reviewing AI/LLM applications and securing agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI security review process from design to launch.
• Threat model AI/LLM systems and data flows for risks and remediation.
• Review source code, prompts, and tool configurations for security.
• Design guardrails and policy-as-code using Python and IaC.
• Evaluate third-party AI SaaS vendors for security.
• Develop AI-specific incident response playbooks.
• Lead cross-functional AI security initiatives to closure.
