Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Senior Engineer, Forward Deployment to embed with a BU, drive the technical agenda for agentic AI delivery, and mentor engineers. You will lead scoping, design, and delivery of live AI solutions, build integrations, and ensure measurable ROI while guiding domain architecture and governance.

The role emphasizes leadership without authority, collaboration with BU stakeholders, and delivering robust, production-ready AI systems within a fast-paced Un-carrier environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 4-7+ years production engineering with hands-on LLM deployment: prompt engineering, RAG, agent orchestration.
• 7-10+ years in solutions engineering or forward deployment roles; able to drive AI outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical agenda for net-new agentic AI delivery within the domain.
• Design and deliver agentic AI solutions in live production environments.
• Build integration layers connecting AI solutions to BU tools and data sources.
• Mentor Engineers and contribute to FDE practice methodology.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture and delivery; communicate progress to BU managers.
