Job summary

Nansen Inc. is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the technical side of client engagements, from problem understanding to a production-ready system.

You will work with delivery and strategy colleagues, owning architecture and build across the project lifecycle. You will run discovery workshops, design end-to-end solutions, and deploy AI agents and workflows while maintaining cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a client-facing technical role (solutions architect, forward deployed engineer or technical consultant) with at least 2 years in AI/LLM.
• Experience shipping AI products or agentic systems to production for customers.
• Strong TypeScript and Python, and experience owning a full stack.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI tooling including agent frameworks, MCP, retrieval and testing of AI output.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops with marketing and digital leaders and translate findings into a buildable plan.
• Design end-to-end solution architecture, including AI agents connecting to client content platforms, DAM and CRM.
• Build and deploy agents, workflows and custom tools in TypeScript and Python; test at production volume.
