Job summary
Smartsheet is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to partner with Sales, lead technical engagements, and demonstrate the value of Smartsheet offerings to customers across the US. You will guide solution design, discovery sessions, and cross-functional collaboration to grow revenue while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
You will stay current on Smartsheet products and industry trends, travel as needed, and mentor teammates as part of a collaborative Solutions Engineering team.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a PreSales Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Solution Architect, or related field in SaaS and enterprise B2B software.
- Strong technical and communication skills with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience leading technical sales engagements and collaborating cross-functionally to drive revenue.
- Comfort with AI technology as part of sales cycles.
Responsibilities
- Identify, build, and demonstrate innovative solutions for high visibility Smartsheet customers.
- Lead technical sales engagements and design customer solutions with value-based demonstrations.
- Conduct discovery sessions to inform sales and solution delivery strategy.
- Maintain deep product and industry knowledge, and mentor team members.
- Travel to customer sites and events as a technical SME.
