Job summary
Smartsheet is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to partner with Sales, lead technical engagements, and serve as a trusted advisor to prospects during evaluations. The role is remote within the United States and sits in the Worldwide Field Operations Commercial Solutions Engineering team.
You will identify innovative solutions for high-visibility customers, conduct discovery, align product roadmaps, mentor teammates, and collaborate across functions to drive revenue.
Qualifications
- 4+ years in PreSales Solutions Eng/Consultant/Solution Architect or related field in SaaS/enterprise B2B software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in complex environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally to support a customer journey.
Responsibilities
- Identify, build, and demonstrate innovative solutions for high-visibility Smartsheet customers.
- Lead technical sales engagements, align with Sales to capture requirements and demonstrate value.
- Conduct discovery sessions to map business processes and inform solution delivery strategy.
