Smartsheet is seeking an Enterprise Technical Solutions Engineer to guide the sales process with technical expertise and hands-on involvement in integrations, automation, and architecture discussions. You will partner with sales to tailor solutions, validate enterprise requirements, and demonstrate outcomes through PoCs.

The role emphasizes collaboration across solution engineering, product feedback, and customer-facing events, with remote work options across the U.S. and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or equivalent in SaaS/enterprise software.
• Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and various customer personas.
• Experience with APIs and standard authorization protocols (OAuth2, SAML/SSO, OpenID).
• Experience with event-based workflows and automation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales/presales to develop value-aligned solution proposals.
• Serve as a technical resource on Smartsheet API, premium applications, SSO/SAML, and third-party APIs.
• Respond to SERs via Salesforce for complex opportunities and integrations.
• Build proofs of concept and solution diagrams for customer demonstrations.
• Provide expertise on product capabilities and interoperability with other tools.
• Assist with technical questions for customer RFPs and drive new integrations.
