Job summary

Cloudflare seeks a Customer Engineer to drive the technical go-to-market strategy as a trusted advisor across the customer journey. You will own the technical relationship from discovery through adoption and expansion, working closely with Account Executives.

You will push for long-term alignment between customer goals and our product roadmap, while being commercially accountable for ensuring platform adoption, retention, and growth through strategic cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions engineering or sales engineering.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with account teams and design bespoke architectures.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, from onboarding to expansion.
• Align long-term technical relationships with the customer's evolving goals and our roadmap.
• Own revenue-adjacent responsibilities and drive platform adoption and cross-sell opportunities.
• Leverage AI-augmented workflows to automate routine tasks and focus on strategic advisory.
