Cloudflare is seeking a Customer Engineer to drive the technical relationship from discovery through long-term adoption and expansion. You will partner with Account Executives to architect bespoke solutions across Cloudflare's portfolio, including security, networking, and developer platforms.

You will operate as a quota-carrying technologist, leveraging AI-augmented workflows to reduce admin toil and focus on high-value architecture, deployment, and measurable business outcomes for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineer.
• Broad technical acumen spanning web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, and modern developer platforms.
• Commercial mindset with quota-carrying or revenue-aligned experience and SaaS metrics.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management bridging technical details and C-suite strategy.

Responsibilities

• Technical validation with account executives to design bespoke architectures and deliver demos/PoCs.
• Lead onboarding, implementation, and ongoing technical health of customers, guiding expansion plans.
• Own discovery, demos, onboarding, health, risk, and expansion strategy with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews translating platform capabilities into ROI for executives.
