Job summary

Cloudflare in the United States is seeking a Customer Engineer to own the technical relationship from discovery through long-term adoption. You will design bespoke architectures, demonstrate value, and guide customers across security, networking and developer platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering.
• Broad technical expertise across web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, and developer platforms.
• Proven track record in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned roles and SaaS metrics.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder management, bridging technical details with business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with Account Executives and design bespoke architectures across Cloudflare products.
• Own onboarding, implementation, health, risk, and expansion activities for the customer.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to translate platform capabilities into ROI for executives.
• Maintain deep relationships with key stakeholders throughout onboarding, renewal, and expansion.
• Leverage AI-augmented workflows to automate routine tasks and enable strategic advisory.
