Job summary

Shopify Inc. is seeking a generalist Learning & Development professional to design and build training content for Shopify Support. You’ll work across Support ops, collaborating with stakeholders to plan and delegate work while maintaining high quality and relevance.

You will create AI-assisted learning assets, write courses, and ensure editorial judgment keeps outputs genuinely strong. This role emphasizes moving fast with AI and human-quality editing.

Qualifications

• Experience with adult learning design and/or technical program design.
• Strong writing and copy editing skills without heavy AI reliance.
• Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and managing SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Design and build training assets from start to finish using AI tools and practices to draft, structure, and produce learning content.
• Raise the quality bar across our learning materials, setting the standard for clarity and accuracy.
• Refine processes to keep learning materials cutting edge as product and process change.
• Manage stakeholders and SMEs — including senior directors — through intake and review, gathering source content and keeping accuracy checks moving.
• Run several projects at once without compromising quality or timelines.
• Creatively problem-solve custom training solutions for tricky scenarios.
• Contribute to the team's content strategy with vision and energy.
